Gisella Bustillos is a film director and producer, science fiction enthusiast, and entrepreneur.  She has produced short films and episodic web series while working with a major media agency in New York City, but her interest in documentary filmmaking brought her to the Pacific Northwest where she became active in the local film community.   Presently, she is working on her first feature film A Brief History of Time Travel.  Her previous work has been featured in notable film festivals like Cannes and the L’Connu Film Festival. 

In 2015, Gisella was accepted into the 4th World Indigenous Media Lab, a year long program with the Seattle International Film Festival in conjunction with ITVS and the Sundance Institute. In 2016, Gisella was the president of the Seattle Documentary Association in Seattle, Washington. Gisella graduated with honors in Film and T.V. from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
